Maria,
If the iPad was set up by a sighted person without Voiceover it is highly
unlikely that the accessibility shortcut is configured hence triple clicking
the home button will not work. Asking SIRI will work as long as the iPad has an
active internet connection either via WiFi or if it is a

This is really no different than on the iPhone except that if you initially

Hi,
My church is starting to use a new online check-in system for parents dropping
off kids. As both a parent and an occasional volunteer in the nursery, I will
go to the training on Sunday for this process which will involve an ipad
connected to a printer. Does an ipad work the same way as an
You might have already gotten the answer to this, but use the roter
action, namely place two fingers on the screen and rotate them like
you're twisting a knob, until you hear action. This should be the
default, but occasionally it isn't. Once you hear action, you can flick

Definitely it was user error. I couldn't delete Voice Mail or messages.
Somehow, I got it to say Actions, and I double tapped. Now, I can delete
anything. Thanks for help.

Hi Carolyn,
I am sorry to say it, but it must be user-error, there has been no change to
how you delete messages. I suspect somehow this is connected to your Recent

Bottom line, how do I do each? I have been deleting texts,

close both. Thanks for any help.

I can use Face ID with this feature on, but it works way more consistently when

It is in the settings for Face Id. When you use this you look directly at the
screen and it give the phone the ability to use your eyes to identify you
faster. I tried Face ID with and without Aware and found it works more
consistently with Aware on.

Hello again,
You need you braille settings on the iPhone to be on contracted, not 6 dot. At
least, that is my setting and I'm not having the issue.

Could anyone who uses a Braille keyboard let me know if they have problems

Thanks, Brian!
You are right: when the Orbit refuses to recognise the command for capitals or
numbers, I can reach over to use the on-screen keyboard on my iPhone XS, which
does suggest it is an Orbit firmware bug.
I’ll get Orbit onto it!

Carolyn has an iPhone which makes sense since she posted her question to the
Viphone list.
While your method works great if you want to completely clear Recent Calls,
there are many times when somebody may want to keep certain numbers in there
and only delete selected calls.
My guess is that
