I have the Instant Pot dual crisp which is a pressure cooker with an air fryer 
feature. I find it very easy to use.. I have the 8qt.which runs $179 on Amazon.

We are wanting to purchase our first air fryer, so I am wondering if 
anyone
on the list has any recommendations as to the best fryer for a blind 
person?
I am seeing a lot of choices on Amazon but they all seem to have those
dredded touch controls. Does anyone know if there are any air fryers on 
the
market that have tactile buttons, or maybe a fryer that you can operate 
with
Alexa. I know that Amazon sells a smart oven, but my wife and I would 
like
to get a stand alone fryer.

Trouble Dismissing Flicktype

Hi, I’m on iOS 14, latest build. I rotate between the English
keyboard, emoji, and Flicktype. If I toggle to emoji and try to switch
back to standard English, I’ll get Flicktype, and despite my best
efforts to dismiss the keyboard, it remains stubbornly present. When I
intentionally bring up Flicktype, after using it, I can tap the bottom
of the screen and move my finger up to get rid of it. When it come sup
on its own the other way though, it’s a pain in the butt to get rid
of. Is anyone else experienceing this? I like Flicktype for what it
is, but the issue can be just annoying enough to tempt me to get rid
of it. I’m hoping the problem is user error though and can figure out
a way to more easily rotate back to the keyboard I want. Thanks for
any help.

I found that I had not downloaded a new album from the iTunes store, so I did 
that, then used the shortcut to update my music library, which worked great.

computer, I am sharing a discovery.  I found the Sonos windows application and

That’s the thing, learning where the buttons are,

And yeah the only difference really between the sonos 1 and the sl version is 
the lack of alexa in the sl which is why it would get my vote.

Since the SL is identical to the Sonos 1 other than the microphone, if you 
touch about ½ inch from the left side, you will decrease the volume and from 
the right, increase the volume.
It is really pretty straight forward once you get used to it.
I’m not even going to have my wife put touch dots on it.
If I tap dead center on the top, it pauses and plays.

But hey it’s easy enough to use my phone once I’m playing audio,
It’s just things like my alarms which play a local radio station in the morning,
Sometimes I like to turn the volume up or down which on my play 1 is easy,
On a sonos 1 isn’t

I find it relatively easy to touch volume up and down as well as play/pause on 
the Sonos One, but it would be even easier if you ask somebody to put a few 
tactial dots where the 3 controls are or add a fourth if you also want to know 
where to switch the microphones on or off. Could they have designed it with a 
slightly raised arrow pointing left for volume down, pointing right for volume 
up and a round or square shape for Play/Pause and the microphones, sure they 
could have, but they didn't because they wanted an absolutely clean look.

There’s  only one thing I’ve ever mad a complaint about with sonos and that’s 
the touch surface of the new sonos 1 and related products,

I have found their tech support superb over the last 11 or so hears since I 
have owned Sonos. Usually I call if I have a problem or question, but I really 
wouldn't let one stupid reply discourage me from an otherwise outstanding

A couple of things.

First, when it says the maximum number is 5, this is a button, and if you 
double tap this, you land in an edit field where you can change the number to 
what you wish. I changed it to 20, and I did not get any errors.
Unfortunately I do not have any groups set up for texting, so I could not 
actually finalize the process and send the message.

second, there was just an update for the app in the app store, and there is a 
new feature available. For texting, you now have a choice, you can use ABC 
Groups to send your message, or you can use the message app. This choice is 
located on the screen where the maximum number is, and it is right before the 
number. Now for group emails, you can use ABC Groups to send the email, or you 
can use the mail app.

Air Fryers

Hello,

 

Please excuse me for this off topic message, but I have been searching this
topic for a few days now I am not finding any information that is helpful
for my wife and I.

 

We are wanting to purchase our first air fryer, so I am wondering if anyone
on the list has any recommendations as to the best fryer for a blind person?
I am seeing a lot of choices on Amazon but they all seem to have those
dredded touch controls. Does anyone know if there are any air fryers on the
market that have tactile buttons, or maybe a fryer that you can operate with
Alexa. I know that Amazon sells a smart oven, but my wife and I would like
to get a stand alone fryer.

Since the SL is identical to the Sonos 1 other than the microphone, if you 
touch about ½ inch from the left side, you will decrease the volume and from 
the right, increase the volume.
It is really pretty straight forward once you get used to it.
I’m not even going to have my wife put touch dots on it.
If I tap dead center on the top, it pauses and plays.

I find it relatively easy to touch volume up and down as well as play/pause on 
the Sonos One, but it would be even easier if you ask somebody to put a few 
tactial dots where the 3 controls are or add a fourth if you also want to know 
where to switch the microphones on or off. Could they have designed it with a 
slightly raised arrow pointing left for volume down, pointing right for volume 
up and a round or square shape for Play/Pause and the microphones, sure they 
could have, but they didn't because they wanted an absolutely clean look.

Sonos keyboard shortcuts for PC

Since many people on this list use Sonos on their iOS devices and on a Windows 
computer, I am sharing a discovery.  I found the Sonos windows application and 
its keyboard shortcuts.
It is quite slick to be able to choose your rooms and music, etc., on the

This is unfortunate as the app used to let you send to more than 5.  A year or 
so ago I had a list of 10 going with no problems.  Unfortunately I've probably 
updated the app since then & will now face this new limitation.  This is such a 
usable app; it's a shame they had to place such an arbitrary & small limit on 
the number of people in a group.

That is apparently the limit in the app. But it should have allowed you to just 
hit send again and send to the 6th person. I did a group of 7, and was able to 
send it to the first 5 then the last 2. Odd limit, but there you go.

hit send again and send to the 6th person. I did a group of 7, and was able to
