Someone on this list, I think, gave a command using the FN key with one of the
F-keys to toggle show/hide keyboard with a Plantronics keyboard.
I cannot find that message.
Was I dreaming that command?
This keyboard does not have a designated key for that.
Thanks,

Richard,
I’ll give Apple Accessibility a call to inquire about this. Thanks for your
suggestions and directions on what to try.

Alan,
Right, it is a limited adjustment; but the only one I can find that even comes
close.
I think that first tone may not have a separate control.
Perhaps asking Accessibility?

Linda,
I love my Libre 2 and appreciate all the info I got from this list.
My recommendation is to download the Libre 2 app and create an account even
before you get the unit.
Personally I don't use the reader as it is totally inaccessible for a totally
blind person. The app is great and
Richard,
Thanks for the reply but when I tweaked those settings you referenced, I
couldn’t tell it made any difference in the initial sound when doing the
Home/App Switcher gesture on a phone without a home button.

My point exactly. Right now what I am looking to learn more about, are not

Hi Paula,
It sends information to braille as alerts, so go to Braille in VoiceOVer
Settings and set Braille Alert Messages for at least 3 seconds. Then everything
the app says will stay on your display for that length of time.

Hi Paula,
If you turned it off, that is the problem. Fortunately, once you reinstall, it
works well with speech. It's more annoying with braille but at least is still
usable.

Thanks for the suggestion. I closed 7 little words out from the app switcher,
then opened the game again. I waited for over a minute, then got the “use the
rotor toactivate direct touch” or something like that. Then more silence. I
tried swiping right, left, up and down with one finger,
Hi Paula,
If you try these suggestions and still can't flick through options, delete 7
LIttle Words, and then reinstall it. You should then be asked if you want to
keep using text-to-speech. Once you choose Yes, you should be all set.
Best,
Anna

Get the Libre 2 app for your phone. You won’t have any problems reading what’s
going on there. It will also speak if you turn on it’s text to speech right
when it takes the reading if you want it to.

Hi Donna I think she might have meant that she can't move round using
the braille display which is what I find as well. Janet

should now be able to navigate using your device. Hope this
Check the settings under VoiceOver, Audio, Sounds and Haptecs.
You can have the sounds match the voice volume or not, then adjust the volume
for the sounds, and you can also adjust the haptec intensity.
I do not think there are any other settings to deal with this.

Hi List,
I'm adapting to not having a home button on my iPhone 13 Mini. My volume is

Thanks for the info, but it doesn’t seem to work. When I touch the screen there
is silence when I flick either right or left or up or down. If I wait long

Thanks for any help.
