RE: Mark on the Aftershock (Shock) Open Run Pro and Open Fit Bluetooth Headphones for iPhone

2024-02-16 Thread M. Taylor
Hello Mary,

If you have either the Open Run Pro or Open Fit model, you can easily enable
and disable multipoint pairing via the iOS Shock app. After the app is opened
and connected to your headset, simply go to Settings and select Multipoint
Pairing. Toggle the switch to, on, and have VoiceOver read the simple pairing
instructions on the display. This feature does not require eyesight to enable
or to use.

Well, that’s what I thought should happen. So I pair to my iPhone. Locked it,
pair to my iPad no problems, lock that. Come back to the iPhone, it absolutely
doesn’t work. I’ve done it several times over two days, and it’s just not
working. I guess I should unpaired it and try it again. Otherwise, I guess I
have to send them back which is too bad, because they meet my use case. But I
need them to work on two devices, one for workouts and the other for zoom. So,
if they don’t work they’ll go back and I’m SOL again.

I don't know about the OPenFit, but both the OpenRun and OpenComm if you
pair to two devices, you have to be sure and lock the device you are not
using, then as soon as you start using the other device, it comes over the
headset.
I've done that with my iPad and iPhone on those.
I would think the OPenFit should work the same.
But, should and does are often quite different.

How do I pair Opencomm with multiple devices?

Opencomm offers multipoint pairing, which allows users to connect to two
devices at the same time.
While you won’t receive audio from both devices at the same time, you’ll be
able to seamlessly transition from one device to the other.
To pair multiple devices through multipoint pairing:

1. Start with your Opencomm off.
2. Press and hold volume+ until Audrey says “pairing” and the LED indicator
flashes red and blue.
3. Press and hold the multifunction button and volume+ button for 3
seconds.Audrey says "multipoint enabled."
4. Open your first device's Bluetooth® menu and select "Opencomm by
Shokz."Audrey says "connected"
5. Turn your Opencomm off.
6. Re-enter pairing mode by pressing and holding volume+ until Audrey says
“pairing”and the LED indicator flashes red and blue.
7. Open your second device's Bluetooth® menu and select "Opencomm by
Shokz."Audrey says "connected."
8. Turn your Opencomm off.
9. Turn your Opencomm on. Your Opencomm are now connected to both devices.

I have the Open Com headset and would like to know how do you connect them to 2

Hi Richard,

How do you lock one device to connect to another? I've never ran into a
problem like this, but would like to have a note about it in case I do. Thanks
much.

Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.

I don't know about the OPenFit, but both the OpenRun and OpenComm if you pair
to two devices, you have to be sure and lock the device you are not using, then
as soon as you start using the other device, it comes over the headset.
I've done that with my iPad and iPhone on those.
I would think the OPenFit should work the same.
But, should and does are often quite different.

Does anyone on this list who has the open fit headphones have a full proof way
of changing from one paired device to the other paired device, assuming you
have two devices paired? I can’t do it. My iPhone just will not reconnect.

Catching up on messages and read several below in this string.

I have the Open Com headset and would like to know how do you connect them to 2
different devices and then use them. Here at work I have my personal iPhone and
also my agency iPhone and would like to connect them to both iPhones. Then use
each when receiving calls.

Re: Garage Band and Ringtone Maker questions.

2024-02-16 Thread Lyne
Hello,
I found easier to use MusicToRington because you don't need to chose any
format. It's easier too if you pay for pub.
