It appears to be the same issue that the app store had before it was fixed.

No, it's not a bug. The double tap to delete message occurred somewhere
along the 5.x release cycle as well. I personally think it makes more sense
to have ot worded like that, since you're indeed deleting apps from the app
switcher.

was a bit nervous the first time I removed something from the App
Switcher. It's kind of wordy, but double tap to remove from App Switcher
or double tap to halt would make more sense to me.

FaceTime is available over Verizon, and so is skype. I don't have Verizon
myself, but I FaceTimed with someone over Verizon LTE today. I personally
think what ATT is doing is complete crap, and something needs to be done

LTE is going to be a bit tougher on the battery, it's that simple. You're
going to have to make some sacrifices and compromises, or buy a battery case
if you're that worried about it.

We wouldn't have to wait for the next iPhone, since that's an iOS 6 feature,
not specific to the iPhone 5. If apple deems it necessary, or something they
feel customers would use, it may be put in a future version of iOS, but for
now, we've got to deal with what we've been given, which is pretty
I don't mean to keep harping about this muting thing, but if it were truly

you're in a meeting, and it's quiet for about 20 seconds, and in that 20
seconds, everyone hears 'screen locked'? How embarrassing would that be?
in your message?

I agree. It's kind of vague when people make that general of a statement.
But, getting back to your original post, I also notice it, but I don't think
it's anything that needs to be worried about, as that's most likely a
symptom of LTE chips, seeing as they do require more power to run.
