Updating The Phone Creates Unresolvable errors

Every had tried to update through iTunes from my backup, it would say backup and restore and each time an error came up unab le to restore pease update and try again. This continued in a circle as it were. When doing the restart through home and power, I got the prompt to plug into iTunes. This
