RE: Fitbit

2013-03-16 Thread ptrholdstock
It's only one four digit code and it only needs inputting once. I'm pleased
to say the issue of strange results seems to have gone after I charged the
unit. I'd recommend giving it a two hour charge when you first purchase. I'm
very impressed with it, especially combined with the Aria scales. All very
clever and very useful. I'm now trying to link it up with the new Microsoft
Helath dashboard. I also want to connect my Ifit crosstrainer but can't find
a service where I can connect both Ifit and Fitibit devices so if anyone is
aware of one please let me know.

I'm concerned. If I can't do it myself I think twice or three times about it

RE: Fitbit

2013-03-14 Thread ptrholdstock
I've just received the FitBit One today and already have the Fitbit Aria
smart scales and they both work great. The app and website are both very
accessible. There could however be miner improvements so I will be dropping
the website a polite email to praise them on the products and suggest a few
improvements. Could I suggest everyone else does the same as you spot any
issues and hopefully we can help make a good product even better. I don't
yet know how accurate the One is but I was surprised today to find it say I
had been up 50 flights of stairs and walked two miles when in fact I had
hardly walked anywhere or been up any kind of elevation. The battery was
very low so it may have caused some strange results. I'll see how I get on
before judging and maybe post back to the list.

Hi, if it happens again try this. Go in to wifi settings, then press on the
more detail button for your wifi network. Then go down to Renew Lease and
press that then restart the phone. If it happens again you may find it is an
issue to do with the last IOS updates as I and many people had the same
problem. Apple insist it doesn't exist but did resolve the issue eventually

Subject: Re: Not connecting to Wi-Fi, Help!

Before resetting the network settings, go in to settings, wifi, to see if
your wifi router is even displayed. If so, double-tap on the information
button following the wifi source and double-tap forget device. After doing
this, try connecting to the router as a new device. If that doesn't work,
reset network settings and try again.

Hi all,

For some reason, my Wi-Fi won't connect. I called my provider to verify if
everything is OK and they confirmed the Wi-Fi is working just fine. I
tested with my netbook and it connects. So, my Wi-Fi is working. My
problem seems to be in the phone. I am tempted to reset the network
settings but I don't want to cause anymore problems than I already have.
Would it be OK to attempt a reset? I did re-start the phone with the
combination of buttons but that didn't help at all.

Any help would be appreciated
