I'm not sure about India, but IOS comes with a built in Maps app from 
Apple. Google Maps and MapQuest also have free maps apps for the iPhone.

There's MapQuest, which I also suggested. I'm not sure if it's available 
in India though.


The only thing I find inaccessible about Google Maps is that the start 
button doesn't show up in VoiceOver. To get around this, I turn off 
VoiceOver and tap the lower right hand corner of the screen to start the 
spoken turn by turn directions. I have reported this to Google.

Hi, i use google maps. By far google navigation. Is the best i found in india. 
I am using them without much problem except for navigation start button cannot 
be traced using VoiceOver.

I've heard that Ariadne uses Google maps, so I'd think that would at
least be available anywhere even if you don't want to download Google
maps directly.
