I'm not a flexy subscriber, but the last two comments - learning curve and special gestures - probably give justification why not. It makes it more appealing to them if they realize they are doing it for millions and not just for a few thousand. Yes, my comment was around how many sighted people will put themselves out enough to go through the learning curve. The fact is, people need a strong motivator when it isn't necessary that they learn something. This is a factor which early adopters, like myself, often forget. To get average people to change, they have to emotionally perceive the change as being highly beneficial for them. The bar is lower for the blind because so much is inaccessible from the outset.
