Hi have you contacted the developers about this, if a lot of us do this they may upgrade the game. RE: one foundation
I used to play this game a lot. It is basically the solitaire game golf. I no longer use it since I have the Blindfold Solitaire set of golf games. The cards are laid out in a grid that is 7 cards across and several rows high. The remaining cards are placed in a pack or deck and one card is turned over. The object is to play cards from the bottom row to build the number sequences up or down. When you can’t play any more then you tap to turn over the next card on the pile and continue. Although the 1 Foundation is basically accessible the main difficulty is that it does not let you know when you get to the end of the bottom row which is all the cards that are eligible to play. So you have to count across the first 7 cards to the left of the Pack. In the Blindfold versions There is this basic version of golf and double golf as well as Putt-putt and double Putt-putt. The main difference is that in golf and one foundation you cannot wrap around from Ace to King and in Putt-putt you can. I play double putt-putt all the time. Other improvements in the Blindfold version over the one foundation is that you can tap two fingers to review the foundation top card. You can also swipe up to see what card will be revealed when you double tap one of the cards in the bottom playable row that allows you to use more strategy. I did discover that if you choose vertical navigation from the rotar when playing the 1 Foundation you can swipe up to see what cards will be revealed when you play the card on the bottom row. But the main drawback is having to count as you go across the bottom row since there is no indication when you move to the second row. I found the golf package in the Blindfold Solitaire to be well worth the cost as I have gotten countless hours of entertainment from it. . Re: one foundation
Okay, sorry, I gave you an extra step before, don’t double tap on the card in the foundation pile, just where you want to play it in the columns. This will move the card in the column to the foundation pile which is where you want it. Then see if the card that you just moved to the foundation pile will play on any of the other columns. This is not like most solitaire games where you have four foundation piles that you try to build up from A to King, in this game, you are trying to clear the columns by moving cards from the columns to the one foundation pile, hence the name of the game. RE: one foundation
I also don’t understand how you get a card exposed. Boy, I must be stupid! I double tapped on a 2 of clubs which is right beside the pack and says “foundation”. Then I flick to a 3 of hearts and double tap that but nothing happens. Guess I need more info. Thanks. God bless! Re: one foundation
Thank you for your help with one Foundation game. I have a much better understanding of how to play this now. I really appreciate your help. Sent from my iPod On Aug 31, 2013, at 6:13 PM, Maria and Joe Chapman bubbygirl1...@gmail.com wrote: HI list. I think it was this list where someone asked how to play one foundation. I thought the easiest way to explain it is to actually play it. Here are 2 audio boos i made while playing this game. there is a part 3 but it hasn't uploaded yet. I can post to the list when it's done. but parts 1 and 2 should give you a rough idea of how to play One foundation part 1 http://t.co/JWMSIpnhAC via @audioboo One foundation part two http://t.co/6pWU2LcJOS via @audioboo I hope this helps anyone who wants to play. I think if the foundation card was announced it would be easier for new players to play and maybe something for voice over users to mention enabling hints will let u know which cards are exposed. other than that I love this game.
