Hello mark. In this case, I think you're trying to turn the Kindle app into something it just isn't supposed to be. It's really designed to let people visually read Kindle books. You're not supposed to fall asleep when you do that. VoiceOver is just a screen reader. It doesn't have a sleep timer.
