Charging pads will require that the whole back of the phone is lying flat.
Consider a carrying case with a shoulder strap.
My wife made me one with a lanyard that has a cord stopper on it so I can
adjust the length. The default length of the lanyard is 54 inches, which
means when I put it over my shoulder it is about at my waist on one side.
With the cord stopper, I can shorten it to be at chest level when I am doing
things like working in the yard so it is not swinging around in my way. But
still quite available and protected.
You can also buy them and the advantage for me is that I don't even have to
think about it beging knocked off my belt in a crowd (whenever we get back to
having crowds,) and it does not interfere with anything.

Hi. I think the nub will probably interfere with the wireless charging. I would
rtry and find a belt case that doesn't require any sort of attachment. There
are a ton of them on Amazon but make sure it's either a Universal case or one
that is made for your particular phone model.
Warmest regards

Subject: Access to charging sensor while having belt clip on case?
In preparation for getting a new iPhone and case when the new ones come out,
I'm upgrading from a 6s plus. If I go the route of finding stands or charging
pads to rest the new phone on, can this coexist with something like those
stick-on nubs that click into a belt clip? Right now, the nub I have on my case
is on the far left edge of the case at the midpoint. Would this put the phone
off-center so it wouldn't connect to the charging pad? I really find it helpful
to connect to a belT clip to free up my hands. If I would need to use another
solution, what have others done?
Thanks,
Matthew
