Re: Chapters in apple podcasts
The Podcasts app does support chapters. You need to have the full player open by double tapping on the album art to expand from the mini player. It's similar to how the full player works in the music app. Once that's done, make certain that the chapters are shown. If they are, the button beside them will say hide. It may be helpful to hide the show notes. Next, you will need screen recognition on in order to flick right through the available chapters. Double tap on the one you want to move to. So far as I can tell, there are no butttons for skipping backwards and forwards by chapter. However, you might be able to set that in the settings app under podcasts. Hope that helps. how to get to play next queue in apple podcasts?

Importing Downcast podcast subscriptions into the Apple Podcasts app
Hi. I am wanting to transfer and import my subscribed podcasts from Downcast into the Apple Podcasts app. I opened Apple Podcasts and can't find where to do it in any of the tabs. I would have thought it would be in the Library or perhaps Listen Now tabs but no such luck. Does anyone know how to do this? I'm using iOS 15.1 on an iPhone 11. Well, the issue with this podcast is that it is something you subscribe to through sub stack. So you get a URL from them that you were then supposed to stick into your podcast app, such as Apple podcasts, downcast, Overcast, but not everything, such as not Spotify. So if I paste the URL, I’m not sure how much good it’s going to do anyone and you can’t search for it by name, since it’s a subscription thing. I’m kind of disgusted at this point. I’ll post the link if somebody thinks it will do you any good after hearing my description. I've found trying to use URL addresses to be problematic with Podcasts. I have better luck just searching for the name of the podcast and then flicking through the available episodes in Overcast. Also, if you flick right from Listen Now, Up Next, See all and double tap, you are in a list of recent episodes but as you flick right, the names of the podcasts are not voiced, just the episode titles. Hello, everyone. If you use the above app and have noticed that flicking through episodes is much less stable lately, please let Apple Accessibility know. The more of us who show them the fact that VoiceOver jumps all over the place when you flick through a list of episodes, the sooner they might consider fixing it! Help For Apple Podcasts App In iOS 12
After updating to iOS 12, a friend reported that the Apple Podcasts app no longer spoke the number of new podcast episodes when he touched the Podcasts icon on the home screen. I could not find a setting that I thought would restore the behavior he enjoyed with earlier versions of iOS. Do you have any suggestions? For whatever it’s worth, I have been using it for at least a year or more exclusively, but finally had enough since I find it cluttered and not very intuitive to use.
