I haven't seen this behavior. What's the battery percentage like when you get
the watch working again? Have you tried restarting the watch? I've had to do
that a few times because of odd behavior, like the Clear All Notifications
button getting stuck on screen.

I had this happen one time when my battery reach 10%. I believe it only goes
into reserve mode when you get low on battery. You can also put it manually
into reserve mode when you go to the battery glimps.
