Hi, Tara. Oh thank you, I thought I was the only one having this issue
with the NEWS app. Yes, since the latest iOS update continuous reading,
even line by line reading is nearly impossible. VO will read a few
lines and then jump to the back button. This happens even if the phone
isn't
Interesting that Accessibility might be different from one publication to the
next. I tried the Atlantic, which was good. I’ve tried a couple of articles
that were just in the various sections but not within a magazine as such, and
they were good. I guess I will have to go look at wine
After the free month, if you keep it, you'll be charged $9.99 per month.
The New Yorker seems quite accessible, but the Wine enthusiast doesn't seem so
good.
That's what I've tried so far.

How much are they even charging for this service think I missed it. I
probably will leave it alone for now though. I am not in the mood to
be giving apple even more money.

Hi richard,
Well, I just went back into the News app on my xr, and the alphabetic split is
now there. So somethings been happening. It clearly was not there before, but
it is now, and that’s wonderful. Now if we can just have a search thing. Maybe
that’s their too, and we’re just not seeing it
Well, that’s interesting. I did reboot both of my phones after the update. I
mean of course, it restarts and you get your update. And then I rebooted both
phones after that. So maybe I could do it again and see what happens. It seems
like if you’re seeing it on an 8+ then I should see it here.
Mary,
Well, I just checked on my work phone which is an 8 plus, and the same things
are there.
Perhaps time for a power off and on again or something?
I will see a client next week with an xr, so if you have not figured out either
what your missing, or how we are cross-communicating, I will
I’m definitely not seeing the categories split like that a.m. and NZ. I wonder
if that’s because you have an iPod touch or an iPhone S eat something small.
But you think they would still let those of us with larger displays have that.
Anyway, nope. Not helping.

When I open the news app, and double tap on the News plus tab at the bottom;
the top left says Apple news plus magazines, and one flick to the right says
browse the catalog categories a m.
Another flick right and it says browse the catalog n z.
Are you not finding that?
Did you try the three
Yes, I have looked by category, which is why I am now sure that the big long
list I’m seeing is not inclusive. There are things that are past the letter S
in the various categories that I have looked at. I hope they eventually include
a search feature.

Hi richard. well I’m not seeing categories a through M or M through Z. I don’t
have an iPhone SE. I have a 7+ or an ex are. But I shouldn’t think that would
matter. What the heck am I missing? Where are you seeing these choices?

Mary,
I just went through the categories A through m, then N through Z' and had no
issues going through to the end of the list in both cases.
This is on my iPhone SE.

Hi Mary,
Have you tried looking by category?
I really like this service. It’s even better than reading with the Kindle. It
is a game changer for us who use Voiceover.

I'm curious, what exactly are the issues you're facing with the two finger
swipe down when continuously reading an article?

'Ve just started exploring this and have signed up for the trial. I have no
difficulty doing continuous reading on my iPHONE7. I can also move through
an article line by line or word by word. The rotor is super helpful and
bing abled to so easily access so much magazine content might slow my
I hope you reported that to Apple. I don’t use the Apple news app until now. I
have an RSS reader that I like a lot so I just keep using that, rather than the
news program. But assuming this magazine thing works as it appears it will, I’m
going to be a big fan.

I signed up for the free month trial of Apple news service. I am a bit baffled
regarding the list of magazines. I know it’s only the first day this is out, so
perhaps not too many have signed up for it yet. But I don’t understand why it
would appear that I am not seeing the full list of
