I didn't notice a battery difference between ioS 7 and iOS 7.1. Many bug fixes
were included, so the update is definitely worth it.

IOS 7.1. When you update IOS 7.1 though, you end up with a few more
things running. For example, bluetooth will be enabled. You can turn it
off if you don't need it and you want to save some battery life.
