In my opinion, the closest thing to the Refreshabraille is the Orbit Reader 20. 
It has an SD card for storing BRF files to read later, and it works very well 
with iOS, and only costs $600 from Orbit Research.

I have a focus 40 4th Gen that works quite well. I hated that Brailliant also. 
It froze no matter what I did. I gave that back.
