Ok, I found a workaround. The old Google Books site does work (thanks, Arnold),
but I've also discovered that there's a search field when I go to my library
page, and it seems to search only ebooks. This is fine by me.

Ok, I feel like I'm going slightly bonkers here. When I go to
http://play.google.com/store/books, I get recommended books and a couple of
buttons that say top charts and new releases, but no search field. Am I
missing something?

Hello Teresa, the Google play store is only for android this is an iPhone list.
Or at least it was one of her I last checked.

What browser are you using? I don't see a search field or a search bar
when I go there with Safari or Chrome on my iPhone. When I go there with
Firefox on my laptop running Ubuntu though, I do have a search field at
the top of the page and a search button on subsequent pages.

Thanks, guys. Yes, I have the iOS Google Play Books app, and the only way to
get books to read is on the website, since Apple does not allow purchases of
books and other material in third-party apps. I don't have a computer, so I'm
