Re: Can sounds for incoming emails be toggled off for one account but kept on for another?

2019-01-09 Thread Maria Reyes
Go to settings then notification center then mail then select the account you
want no sound then you double tap on sound and whatever the sound is and you
should see all of the ringtone and alert tones that you can choose from and
there's also a none option. so if you don't want any sound you select that
option.

Hi there,

I don’t think there is a way to do this with the Apple mail app, however, you
can do it with Outlook for sure.

Can sounds for incoming emails be toggled off for one account but kept on for another?

2019-01-09 Thread 'Kramlinger, Keith G., M.D.' via VIPhone
Hi,

I have 2 email accounts on my iPhone.

For one, I like receiving the sound for a new mail message, but for another I
prefer just checking back several times daily to check on the traffic.

Is it possible to keep sound on for incoming mail messages on the one account,
but turn of sounds for incoming messages on the other?

If so, how?

Thanks in advance. Keith
