This is certainly a great tip. And if you think of the next and previous gestures like turning the pages in a book then the left for next and right for previous makes more sense. OOPS! Slight correction here: in my previous post I mentioned pressing dots 4, 5 and 6, then either a 1-3-5 chord or a 2-4-6 chord. When you press dots 4, 5 and 6, press the enter key as well. Re: Cool descovery I made in navigating mail
Minor clarification: unless something has changed, the command is enter-4-5-6. This tells Keysoft to ignore the next keypress, thus space-o will scroll a page in iOS rather than opening the Keysoft options menu. Since space-2-4-6 is not a Keysoft command, you don't need to press enter-4-5-6 before it. Again, things may have changed and I may well be wrong, but there you go. When you reach the end of the thread, the phone will give you than bonk sound and won't scroll any further. Re: Cool descovery I made in navigating mail
Iona, thanks for sharing this. I have my messages sorted with the most recent at the top. So when I swipe to the left, I get to the previous message which is what I want. Thanks again for sharing this. Sent from my iPhone On Jan 20, 2015, at 1:23 PM, Alex Hall mehg...@icloud.com wrote: Wow, thanks for that, I never knew it either! It looks like a three-finger swipe left is next message, and right is previous. That seems backward to me, but hey, it beats always going back a screen and finding, then double tapping, the next message in line. This will be especially helpful for long threads. I'm off to tweet about this. :) On Jan 20, 2015, at 1:18 PM, Ioana Gandrabur igandra...@gmail.com wrote: Hi all, I just found out something interesting about navigating mail messages on the iPhone.
