If you already have the app, you paid $4.99 for it. It could be that you could choose not to subscribe and get the Fantastical 2 features for free. You would just have to wait and turn down the subscribe offer, or cancel after starting the trial if it shows up under subscriptions. Reggie, I just made an appointment for myself like this: Me: "Make an appointment for September 27 called Dinner with Carol." SIRI: "What time?" Me: "5 pm."\\ SIRI: "what is the location?" Me: "My house." "Carol Baker or Carol Davis?" I did not deliberately leave the time out; I just forgot and I wanted to show you that SIRI will ask. And at the time I forgot that there are two Carols in my address book. | I get a notifications about all of my appointments; those are, I think, different from using the reminder app, which I never do. Regarding FantastiCal. I've seen the option to subscribe and balked at the repeating cost. But I've been using it without the subscription and it suits my needs. What are the benefits to subscribing? You can find the setting under Accessibility, Siri. It is the first item. If you turn it on, when you press the home button, you can type to Siri rather than speak. Hey Siri still works normally, but holding the home button will only accept typed commands/questions. Using type with Siri and keeping hey Siri on makes for a great combination; you can very easily create complex events without Siri misunderstanding what you are saying. Creating Events Quickly in iOS Calendar
Hello, I'm trying to make better use of my calendar, but I find the iOS calendar takes forever to use. Adding an event, especially at a location, takes so much time it is almost not worth it. I know FantastiCal has excellent natural language support; at one time I think it was a one-time purchase, but now it is a subscription-based model and I really don't like subscription apps outside of streaming. Are there any ways to speed up adding calendar events to the normal iOS calendar, or any other free/one-time purchase apps that have more robust natural language input or are just more efficient? -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
