While reading my work e-mail with the regular mail app, I find that sometimes I will be deleting a message with the flick up gesture, but while I'm doing this, the server will be checking for messages and will put one up that I've not even looked at before. By the time I've double tapped delete, the message I'm actually deleting is one I've not read, and the one I wanted to delete is still there. I set up the mail app to only get mail manually, but that doesn't stop it from checking mail every few seconds. Is there a way to stop this behavior? I find it's even more problematic when doing this with GMail. Thanks, Matthew
