Oh, Mike, I'm glad it's working. I had the automatic function turned off along 
time ago. Because it never worked with any of my accounts. I've always had to 
use the vets schedule, which is every 15 minutes.

Email Notifications Now Working

Hi All,

After going through every setting possible and changing sounds, toggling 
settings off and on, what finally got my email notifications to play a sound 
and for Voiceover to report how many I was receiving,  was resolved by going 
to,
Settings / Mail app / Accounts / Fetch new data button / Fetch schedule and 
set this to every 15 minutes.

I previously had this Fetch schedule set on automatically.  We'll now see 
how long it keeps working.  Thanks to everyone for their input.
