I'm not Garth, but you can put 12 apps into a folder if you are using an iPhone
or iPod, and 18 with an iPad.

Hi Garth, I have an iPad, and I have some folders
with 18 apps, e.g. my radio apps folder. I wonder if this is different for
different generation iPads, although that seems weird. Mine is an iPad 1.
