Hi,
The five-device limit is for computers. You can deauthorize a particular
computer by choosing Deauthorize from the Account menu in iTunes, and once a
year, you can deauthorize all of them. This is useful if, say, your hard drive
crashed, and you lost an authorization.

authorations back, I heard you can do that once or twice a year I don't know
why that is.
