Hi, Katey, The frustrating thing is that every other control in this app is readable with VO, but it is not possible to turn pages. (I'm disjointedly reminded of a large wheelchair-accessible restroom with bars with a high step leading into it.)
I looked Google Play books up on Apple Vis, and the review says that Google has been made aware of the situation. I don't suppose it would hurt to write to them. In any case, you might try looking for Google Books.ipa in the recycle bin, or if you use Windows Backup, see if it's there. I successfully restored Google Books, and I am soooo relieved.
