Remember, I have been collecting apps since June 19th 2009 when the iPhone 3GS
came out.

So this may seem like a lot but I would bet that this is a pretty normal
purchase amount for the time I have had an iPhone.

-Maybe not… :) I wonder what the average amount of apps per iPhone owner is…

Anyway, great topic and so as not to inadvertently hijack this thread, let me
just ask that we keep this one to the process of searching for apps and start a
new thread if people are actually interested in the average amount of apps per
iPhone owner.

Let me offer my apologies for accidentally helping to lead this thread astray!
:)

Once again, for those who may not be familiar with using the handwriting mode
to find apps, if you use the rotor to locate the handwriting option while you
are on the home screen, you can then draw letters with your finger. Each letter
you draw will cause a list of apps to be displayed, which you can then navigate
using a two-finger flick up or down. The more letters you draw, the more
refined the list of apps will become until you either find the app you are
looking for or the list can get no smaller.

Does this make sense?

In this way, you can either find a nice list of apps which begin with a single
letter, go quickly to a specific app from anywhere on your phone, or anything
in between.

Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for the great thread!

You know what I call this. That is being a horder. LOL There is no way in this
world you can remember what and where all these app you have.
But I guess that is your choice as to have as many app as you want as it's your
phone.
I just want to know one thing. How do you know or find the app you are looking
for? Another words how do you manage that many apps?

SeriouslY Sieghard?

I have 662 on my phone right now and probably a few hundred more associated
with my account which are not downloaded. (I love my apps!) lol!

I think 300 or so is a perfectly reasonable number! :) lol!

Cheers!

Hi,

I have several apps among over 300 scattered about in several folders.

I want to move several of themc, but I'm not quire sure where they are among
various pages and folders.

I recall there is a way to get an app announcement that gives info where the
app is, but can't remember what this is. Can someone please help?

Thanks in advance, Keith
