Hello Everyone, I updated the software on my Apple TV 4th Gen, earlier this week.
Since doing so, I cannot reliably close apps via the Apple TV remote. 1. After updating to the latest version of Apple TV OS, with VoiceOver enabled, Go to Settings > Accessibility. 2. Set navigation mode to Follow Focus instead of Direct Touch. (For some reason I have never been able to get the hang of Direct Touch, so, I do not use it.) 3. Now, press the Home button to go back to the home screen. 4. Open a couple of apps and return to the Home screen. 5. Double-press the Home button to bring up the App Switcher. 6. Swipe to the left or right to land on an active app. 7. Turn the Rotor to Actions. 8. Swipe up to hear VoiceOver say, "Close App." Okay, it at number 8 where I run into problems. I can set the Rotor to Actions but, try as I may, single-finger (or, for that matter double-finger) swiping up or down causes nothing to happen. Clearly I am doing something wrong but cannot discover my error. For the record, when the navigation method is set to Direct Touch, closing an app is not a problem. All replies greatly appreciated.
