I called Apple on the question in the subject of my message, and I was told
I could select them in iTunes on the PC and download them that way. My
question is how do I find my purchased music? Do I have to remember what I
purchased so I can search for it in iTunes, or is there an easier

Go to the Store menu on iTunes and click on Check for available Downloads.
If you have iTunes Match, this should happen automatically for music but if
not, you can also try the Update iTunes Match option. (also in the Store menu)
