I used the double tap and hold gesture, and it worked for me. You double tap
and hold, wait for the tri tone, then swipe right. It brought up a confirm
deletion button.

You can also try going to the list of shortcuts that you created, single tap
the one that you wish to delete, flick up with one finger and then you should
hear voice over say delete, double tap the screen and it should now be gone.

I have set up a couple shortcut phrases I now wish to remove. I know
I can replace them with something new but I just want them removed
for now. I have tried editting the shortcut and phrases so the fields
are both empty but then iOS won't permit me to save empty fields.
