For some reason, the e-mails on my iPhone are displayed in order which is
the reverse of how they appear in Mail on my Mac mini 2010. Yeah, I know,
ancient box.

Anyway, on my Mac, the most recent message is on the bottom of the list and
the most recent message in a thread is at the bottom of the relevant
thread. On my phone, in Mail, there's a toggle button that says, "Most
recent message on top." But the order of messages is uneffected by either
setting. In either case, the most recent message is always at the top an
the most recent message in a thread is at the top of that thread. What am
I doing wrong? It's real annoying to have my mail messages displayed in
two different orders depending on the device being used.

I'm using iOS14 but that doesn't matter because this has always been this
way since my first iPhone in 2010.
