What Jen suggests will get your music into the iTunes library, and you
need to perform this step, but it won't preserve the folder structure
that you want to keep. What I'd suggest, and what I've just done
recently myself, is exactly what Jen describes below and then I created

What you do is go to the file menu of iTunes. Then go to add folder to library.
Now you have to choose your folder from a treeview. Once you get that selected,
press enter on open. It then should be added correctly.

In iTunes Preferences, on the Advanced tab, is a check box called Keep iTunes
folder organized. If you uncheck this, your folder structure won't be changed
when you add the folder to your iTunes library.
