For some reason the delete button isn’t visible. I’ve even had a nine sided

It will put them in the trash folder and then Google will delete them
after 30 days. This is what I prefer, so I don't know how to change
this. Maybe someone else can answer your question or you could look for
a delete permanently option or do a Google search to find such an option.

Yes, I am using Gmail. When you say trash them, do you mean that it will delete
them? Or will it put them in my trash folder? I’m wanting to completely delete
everything in my trash folder. But when I do the three finger swipe up, nothing
happens.

It looks like you're using Gmail. If so, do you see an archive button?
If you see an archive button you can go into your settings for your

Double tap that and the delete button should be at the bottom right.

to get it in view.
For some reason the delete button isn’t visible. I’ve even had a nine sided
husband look and he doesn’t see it.

Once the mail is in your trash folder, double tap on edit, then select all,
then find the delete button on the bottom of your phone at the right-hand
corner and double tap.

OK, so I go into the trash folder, I select the edit button, then do I choose
select all? Once I do that, where should I see the delete all messages button?

Hey Deja, this is Ethan, you can go to your main M box and then find the edit
box in your inbox and then you can select emails that way and then after you’re
done you can move them to the trash bin hope that helps.
