Saving as a newer format is a good idea. It should read the older format; So,
saving as the newer format is worth a try.

I’m not sure if it’s supposed to support older, Microsoft Word files,.since you
have Microsoft Word, you can do a save as and save it as the new word file
type, and then should work.

Somebody sent me a doc file, and older word format which hasn’t been used for
years. It will open in my copy of word on my PC, but I wanted it in Voice
