RE: Looking for a particular calendar app

2017-05-20 Thread Richard Turner
I am not sure if ApppleVis has a podcast on it but that would be one place to
check.
One of the best things for me about the app is that you can write an
appointment as a sentence almost and it will put the information in the right
place.
For example, in the new event field, you could write, Dr. Payne, 2 PM,
5/30/2017, located at 1234 Main Street, Ashland, OR
Then hit the add button and everything would go where it needs to.
You can also write the lenfth, like 2PM to 3PM, or 1 hour, or you could write
every Friday from 7 to 9 pm, with all the other info.
If you haven't figured it out yet, if you touch near the top where the month
and year heading is and flick down with three fingers it will toggle between
the Day Ticker, or the Month view.

Enjoy,
Richard

Hi!
Thank you for the recommendation. I have downloaded the app and it seems quite
intuitive. Do you by any chance know if there's a podcast demonstrating the
features of the app?
Thanks again for your help.

Check out Fantastical 2. The developer has been very responsive over
the years to make the app compatible with VoiceOver. It has a list
view with each day listed chronologically. There is just one initial
tip to give you. The top half of the screen has a few commands and a
day ticker listing. Instead, touch in the lower half of the screen
and then you are in the chronological listing. Now, you can flick
back or forward to move through each day and its events.

BTW, Fantastical syncs perfectly both ways with the native calendar app.
