I was sure someone posted a way to just rename the file so it would start where
you left off and would keep the book from playing as music.

also, you can make itunes recognize your mp3 files as audio books, or podcasts
by doing the following:
select all files that are in the book in your sources music area(in itunes).
Once all files are selected, hit control i, this will bring up a multiple
