Hi Richard. I’m using away mode with speak characters and speak words on.
Hoping I can figure this out since I like it, but get tired of it jumping
around.
God bless!

What are your settings in MBraille?
IN particular, which mode are you using, piano, away, or or Smart?
Do you have it set to echo words, characters, or both?

Hi all, I have used M-braille as a third party keyboard for several years.
Lately I've noticed that as I type it will some times jump around, reading
what I wrote rather than typing the letters I'm trying to type. Has anyone
else noticed this. I'm using an Iphone 13 mini running IOS 13.2.1. I'm

So do I. It's worth keeping the Braille Screen Input just for that, plus
navigating by element on the web. Also, MBraille or other third party keyboards
do not work in password or other secure text fields. So keep Braille Screen
Input for those purposes as well.

That is correct. Since the home screen is not a text field, third party
keyboards will not work there. However, you can go into spotlight by swiping
down with three fingers and use it there.

Hi There,
I did read your post earlier, but needed to to reinstall old apps back on the
phone. I did check out using MBraille KB in Spotlight and was able to switch
between all 5 keyboards. I eventually circled back to MBraille and entered my
search term to open a specific app. Did you use a 3
There must be a bug then, as no third party keyboards are available in
Spotlight. To prove it, try and find the next keyboard button after the more
key. I don't think you will find it.

Hi all. Is there a way to paste text written within MBraille into another
app. For example, can you write a note in MBraille and move it to your
notes app, or can you write a reply in MBraille and paste it into the body
of an email to reply to someone? I haven't seen anything that answers this.
of these features of the app.

Hi,
When you close MBraille, the text you have just typed is automatically copied
to the clipboard. Just go to the app you want to paste the text in and use the
rotor to go to edid, then flick up to get to the paste option and double tap.

To all who answered my MBraille question, thanks for the info. I have never
used the edit function from the roter, so that bit of information was
exactly what I needed to know. I have gone through the MBraille help file
and listened to the HLLF podcasts which were excellent and helpful
