As list owner, I'm saying here, once and for all, that developers of products for the iDevices are welcome to post here on faith. What I mean by this is that while it's certainly encouraged to chat with a list owner or mod before one posts about sale items on a list, someone whose livelihood it is, is to create an app or sell a product which will benefit this community, is more than encouraged to post about their services here. This doesn't mean that any of the mods will never have an issue with a developer or provider's post, or their presence here on the list, and as I said, it is certainly encouraged to ask us first and we hope that people will do this, but in the case of product producers it's certainly forgivable. :) Now in regard to people wanting to simply off-load old hardware to reclaim their investment or even possibly make a buck, that's a whole different thing. there are sites specifically set up for this very purpose and frankly I'd rather you use them. This is not a case of someone producing a product for this community and needing to keep their finger on the pulse as it were, this is a case of someone simply trying to flip an item, and in this case, we ask that you do go ahead and contact us first. By the way, for the record, since everyone always seems to bring up Nancy here, she actually did contact me ahead of time, years ago when she began posting on Digit-Eyes here. so please, let's put this one to rest, okay?… she's had my permission to post what she does for years here and I'll continue to offer her the same availability. And, for the record, Amy, you also have my permission to post here. -and thank you for your posts up to this point… :) As far as I'm concerned, app-developers and providers of services related to the iDevices which are genuine and legit are more than welcome to share their services here. This has always been my intention for this list and always will be. Does this make sense to everyone? If you all have points you'd like to make or discuss in regard to this then please email me or Raul off-list. -And I mean, off this list!!! To let you know ahead of time, anything that gets sent to me on this, which isn't CC'ed to Raul, will be forwarded along so he's included in on the discussion.
