Now my iPhone says 7.1. I have less than 2GB of free space on my phone. How

I needed 1.9G to download and install 7.1. If 7.1 is already downloaded,
you probably need less space than that. You can check just by going into
Settings - General - Software Updates. If you don't have enough space,
you'll see that message. Otherwise, you'll have a install button available.
Christopher,
I have a Download and Install button at the bottom of the screen. So, I guess
I can go for it. I'm not going to do that right now. Just interested to know.

just haven't installed it yet. So you would need to install that update
then update to 7.1.

need less free space on your phone when installing through iTunes.

guys,
I had no idea IOS7.1 had arrived. Every time I look at my iPhone 4 under
Software update, it says IOS7.06 downloaded. that suggests that I have to
install that and therefore upgrade from 6.x to 7.06 before I can upgrade to
7.1. Is that the case? is there any real point for an iPhone
