I think you are correct about Siri not recognizing the custom label. But I have
the Game Day Pro Football app which only says “Game Day” on the icon. A few
days ago I downloaded the Game Day College
but if I ask Siri
to open Game Day, how will it know which one? I will do some experimenting to
see if there is a difference.

While focused on the App, do a two finger double tap and hold, wait for the
tri-tone, then you should have an edit box where you can change the name. I
haven't confirmed
with a woman is like reading a software license agreement. In the
end you have to ignore everything, & click I agree.
