Hi, I just started using mail. How do I check for new messages once I'm in the InBox? I realize that it checks automatically when I go into the InBox but how do I do it manually check without going back to Mailboxes. To save battery life I would like to continue doing it manually rather

Perform a three finger swipe down whilst at the first message in the inbox list to tell mail to refresh (check for new messages). I usually just close mail by pressing the home button and then double or split tap on mail to open mail again. This action also causes a refresh, and can be done
