Hi Eleanor, You don't need to reset the Mini 3. Go to Settings/General/Software Update, and follow the prompts to update to iOS 9.2. Then go to Settings/iCloud/Backup and back up your iPad. Then you can restore the new iPad from that backup. Best, Anna > On Jan 7, 2016, at 5:14 PM, 'Eleanor
