Hi Eleanor, Have you tried putting them in to a folder via the files app on your iPad and then from files on your iphone trying to copy / save them to your tones on the iphone/ I'd also check under the sounds and haptics on the phone under settings and under the ring tones tab / list there should be an option to download all purchased tones, I can't remember but I think some of my tones are made by me and they all come back to the phone when I update or restore my phone. There is a way to do this through garage band. You have to have iCloud drive turned oThere is a way to do this through GarageBand. I only know of using the computer and iTunes to literally copy them to the device via a USB cable. You do not sync them. Do you have the files on your computer?
