I have always normally used MFI certified cables just for the one simple reason
that Apples cables are much more expensive.
Now most of these cables are good, but can range in quality. So I tend to try
to stay with a brand that has a good reputation. I currently use Anker brand
cables.

The price on these is really good, but much cheaper than anything you
would buy
