Hello List,

When I hang up from a call, I’ve noticed that my phone will start playing music from my library.

Is there a way to disable this so that when I hang up, I don’t hear musicc?

Another thing you can try if you are in the phone app is to swipe up with three
fingers to close the app to end the call. Either it works for me, or the
person has hung up before me and I don’t realize that.

Perhaps, the new app is not compatible with the older operating system?

You can download them on any device where you have installed the app and signed
in.
Perhaps, the new app is not compatible with the older operating system?
She probably could find out through her local NLS library.

Re: An iPhone Question

2021-05-27 Thread Richard Turner
When you go into settings, control center, and find the reorder camera, or
reorder flashlight buttons, you have to do the double tap and hold gesture,
then drag your finger down the screen until you hear it go below something that
is in the lower section that have an insert button because they are not already
in the control center.
Then when you open the control center on its own, you will not see camera or
flashlight,.
It appears at least with 14.6, that you cannot move or reorder anything prior
to Screen Mirroring.
But everything else is up for grabs.

My comment about iOS 14 and photos and videos is that its approach for

Does anyone know where these videos would be stored on the phone?

My comment about iOS 14 and photos and videos is that its approach for
accessing them doesn't seem to have thought much about Voiceover users.

RE: An iPhone Question

2013-06-15 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Noe,

You can try to add Volume to the rotor, then when you are on a call, turn
the rotor to Volume and flick up until it is at 100%, then without Voiceover
speaking, try to turn the speaker volume down using the volume down button.

This worked well for me on iOS 5 and I also have a 4S so I think it's more a
combination of software and hardware because ever since iOS 6 came out I
can't properly balance Voiceover volume and speakerphone volume.

Apple told me this does not effect all devices which of course doesn't help
me much. In fact, I recently received a replacement iPhone 4S since on my
original one the camera was not taking clear pictures any more and I have
the same problem on the replacement 4S as I had before.

Lastly, the best fix for this is simply to use headphones if you have to
make a call where you have to dial a lot of numbers.

Regards,

Sieghard

Hi Listers,

I just upgraded to the iPhone 4s.

Is there a way to hear the touch tones when dialing an automated number?

Also, how can I make the volume of voiceover louder than the speaker phone
volume, if that makes any sense?

wWhen I call an automated number, the speaker phone is much louder than
voiceover.

I'd appreciate any help.
