Yeah .. actually it is described .. I had to change it to “Hebrew AD” ..  there 
was no “English AD’ .. so, looks like they just have something messed up on

I started watching this the other day and after several minutes gave up as 
there was no AD.  According to the details this is supposed to have AD.  All of 
the other Apple TV Plus shows that I have tried out have had it, and I double 
checked that I hadn’t set the AD to off accidently .. I hadn’t ..

Thanks .. Yeah I see that .. and that did work ..

 

Interesting there isn’t an ‘english’ choice .. but the “hebrew’ choice is 
English .. they must have something messed up ..

 

Oh well .. now I can give it a listen and see if it’s worth watching …

Hi Peter,

 

after doing some investigating, I looked in the audio and subtitle settings for 
the show and noticed that there is no English choice. By default, Hebrew is 
selected. Now there is a Hebrew AD choice. After selecting Hebrew AD, audio 
description worked like normal.

So AD is available, you just have to select that option for it to start working.

Hi Peter,

I don’t subscribe to Apple TV+, but if I did and I wanted to watch that show, I 
would certainly write to Accessibility at Apple and let them know that the 
audio description is not working. I imagine if you do that, they’ll fix it. I 
seem to remember hearing about another such case where it was fixed when 
somebody complained.
