If it is IPX7 than by definition that means it can be submerged under 1 meter 
of water for 30 minutes. IPX7 is also the waterproof rating of all Garmin GPS's 
and I know the definition since I sell them at my store and you can of course 
Google IPX 7 and find the definitions of all these ratings.
