Hi Jim: I own the sound link Micro and my wife has the sound link color 1st generation. The micro can get Siri to play from the speaker while the color does not. While connected to your phone, press and hold the button on your speaker that is used to play pause. Much like you are holding the button to call Siri. If Siri responds, then that's how you do it. If not, then its likely not going to do it. Also, documentation for the Micro says it supports speakerphone while the color does not. I am guessing that if the mini supports speaker phone, then it would work for Siri as well.
