It allows you to buffer your text on the Orbit itself, so the arrow keys work as normal arrow keys to navigate the text you have written. While connected to your iPhone, get n the body of the message, or whatever edit box it is, then press select+down arrow. You will read, buffer edit mode on the display. Now, everything you write until you press dot 8 will only be on the Orbit in a buffer that you can edit at will. Once you are satisfied, press dot 8 and it will send it to the Orbit. VoiceOver will speak each word, slowly, as it receives the text. But this is a more sure fired way of insuring that you get your text prepared without mistakes then send it into the edit field on the iPhone.
