I would think you would tap the one you think is correct. After that first
lesson the pics stop. I do remember seeing words that could have had pics by
them, and I just guessed at it. Also when you are going into a lesson there is
a tips item. Tap on that to get hints for the lesson. By the way,
I don't think you get what I'm describing, so I'll try again. The app speaks
just fine. At the first lesson, the beginning question is "which one of these
is water?" with a list of words that can be clicked. I have been told by
someone I show the app to that each word has a picture beside it and

Ihave a better suggestion. Go to YouTube and Plug in Duo Lingo Spanish Lesson 1
and see what comes up. There is a guy who goes through the lessons and it's the
same as what is on the App. He does it in English and you will hear what the
App says in both English and Spanish. In my next post

The first lesson I opened, asked me "which of these is water"; there was
clearly a set of pictures one was meant to choose from. I did in fact download
Duolingo, so we're talking about the same app.

Maybe there are some settings you need to turn on. Sorry you aren't
getting any useful feedback. I don't remember having to do anything for voice
over to read me what was there.
The program is fairly intuitive cause there isn't a lot to read on a
single screen. After you answer
I guess...

Duolingo is definitely very accessible. I learned French using Duolingo, and
now am learning German.
If you want to learn languages though, I really suggest Italki. They have
language teachers there that aren't too expensive and you'll make progress a
lot more quickly. With Duolingo combined wi
I know someone who used Dual Linggo on the iPhone with VoiceOver.
Did you create an account?
It asks you to pick a course and Italian is definitely one of the courses as
that is what they did.
